i used to have these weird disturbing dreams before becoming a vegitarian about me tearing apart rabbits with my bare hands or feeding them to snakes or something like that and *in my dream* enjoying it. they stopped after i quit eating meat. what could this mean?
While I am no expert on dream interpretations, I thought I would still give my opinion. It might have been your guilt inside of you for eating meat. You most likely are compassionate and knew in your heart that it was wrong to eat meat, so while you were sleeping, your mind was bringing forth to you that guilt that was locked inside of you. I used to have a lot of guilt a couple years ago when I was a vegetarian then quit being one for a while. I regret quitting it, but I am back at it again, and I am never going to quit this time. I couldn't imagine eating/using anything containing animals. Anyway, the dreams have stopped now because your mind is at ease with itself that you have made the right choice. Best of luck to you.

DREAMS.........set up a feeling for the next day. It is best that you break fast from dreaming, forget them and pursue a course of action based on positive thought. The more you dwell on thinking about a dream, the greater the potential for the emotions in that dream to effect your following day adversally. If you can recognize a problem such as not completing a task because lack of knowledge, you can be on the lookout for that particular problem to show up the following day only and deal with it. peace Honor

In reply to Crystal's query on the previous page, it is the smell alone which bothers me. I'm not an activist, just a health freak. You'd be amazed at how little i think about what they are eating. It isnt as bad when the meat is cold, just when its being cooked or when its hot that it makes me sick. I don't think its a mental thing, i used to eat meat, not long ago. Can't explain it. I think my body knows what it was eating, and likes what it is eating now and says NO when i smell meat. like a safeguard to keep me from polluting myself.
meat protein molecules are larger than plant protein molecules......they have to be absorbed by the intestines.......so the body adapts as you grow up eating meat by making larger holes......the result is that harmful bacteria on food, especially red meat, gets to find these larger holes and a way into your body...........the result is like embalming yourself. The poison or toxin created by harmful bacteria as a defense against the good bacteria trying to kill it off makes a person seem like they are possessed, they look like they are in some sort of catonic state of mind part of the time adrenaline does not overcome their socially unresponsive attitude. This has long term effects on a dream state that may lead to bloody dreams, a way of the mind telling the user to chill on eating red meat.
well, i used to have a pet rabbit, but it was in this hutch with a metal roof on it, so i kept it in the shade. but one day when i was at school it was really hot out, and my dad decided to move its hutch right out in the middle of the yard. i came home and found it dead-it died from the intense heat. i never forgave him for that, which is wrong i know, but i was very young
strange... when I first became a vegetarian (I was about 12-13) I began having strange dreams about eating meat. for example I once dreamt I sat in my parents' car and ate a raw guinea pig. I remember thinking (in the dream) "Wait, this is meat, right? Noo, I'm sitting in the car, so it doesn't count." disturbing, yet amusing.
Had Emanuel Swedenbourg known better he would have said you had the hungry eye of a cat in your dreammmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
