I just joined the Y a week ago and ahve been going to the aquacise class 3 times a week, along with swimming on weekends and in between classes. I'm hoping i will see some results, i'm also being very concience of the foods i'm easting...but i was just wondering if anyone else has tried aquacise and if you had results.
I don't know what kind of results you want to "see." I hate to break it to you, but water activities almost never reduce weight. However, I strongly encourage you to keep doing them!!! The aerobic benefit, and the general benefits of low impact for you joints are outstanding! Swimming has been a real life saver for me. One thing... Always stretch, slowly and gently, before and after each workout... stretch at least 10 minutes before and after. Good luck!
