This weekend I was at my aunts house and down the road her friends were having a party and my supervisor was there and she wanted me to get drunk. well I only got buzzed up. but the best part of the night was my supervisor fired me up. fuck never thought that would happen

A guy that works at the convenient store next to where i work, went to prison for manufacturing meth. Hes a fucking wierdo, he seems like a hard ass, you kinda get a vibe from him that he wants to kill you. But one day i took the bosses dog for a walk cause it wasnt very busy. And behind the store by the trashcans, i watch him do this exact motion, he walks out the back door, waves at me, he barks at the dog, walks to the alley, walks in a circle numerous times, and then started to jump in the air. then he smiles and says, have a good fucking day motherfucker. I just stood there for like 10 minutes in awe of whatever had just happened, stay away from the meth.
I would check first. She might share your taste in recreational drugs, but have firm feelings about workplace sobriety. My boss and I have had a beer after work, but no way would that be acceptable on the job.
Yeah, I have only once drunk on the job - we were catering a wedding, and when it was over and we were just clearing up, we were given the rest of the champagne between the staff, to an acceptable level. This was allowed by my boss, a one-off. I would never come to work intoxicated. I apprieciate my job and want to do it well, and for me, that means being completely sober.
seems you learnt nothing valuable obviously if you never thought it, it means she keeps her drug use seperate form work, and would probably expect the same of you. just because someone gets pissed int he weekend doesnt mean theyd be fine with you gettin drunk before shift. same with being stoned. the fact that theyre a stoner means that they would be ultraperceptive to telling if you were under the influence, and discerning what negative effects it could be having. unlESS of course one of the things you talked to her about was the way she goes to work high all the time and doesnt care about it etc. the point is that plenty of ppl smoke dope, but if they keep it out of certain parts of their life - theyd prolly appreciate teh same from others too
trust me I know her pretty good she's my cousin's stepmom, she fires him up all the time and she str8 out told me that she knows about when a couple of other workers come in high... she's really cool with it... plus all they care about at work is whether money comes up missing or not or if you eat free food
