The last few weeks i have been having conversations in dreams when i hold the same position i would in waking life. I have been stating facts of my waking life in my dreams. I was just wondering if that happens to other people or if anyone can connect this phenomenon to a broader theory on dreams.

    What is reality ?

The dreamer knows reality from a different angle than one who walks awake in the light of the day. And each seeks to grow in consciousness, each in their own way, be it waking, dreaming or asleep.

But it is all still you. How real are you ?

We dream all the time. And each dream is connected to another, and each is a mirror of infinity.

    Just a thought.

I have seen waking life but it was a few years ago and i cant remember too much.
Thanks for your ideas so far. It is hard for me to accept the idea that a dream is just a dream and its not more. They are often so rich and vivid that i want to really understand what they mean. anyways, i am just rambling...

dreams ARE a LOT more then JUST the simulations our minds run to restore themselves. there NOT the same reality as we're awaike in though. that much is mostly obvious. but they are or can be indeed a parallal 'para-reality'. like a seperate little virtual world inside your head computer that somehow sometimes i think, psionicly connectes to a kind of shaired psionic internet, so that sometimes, not everything in them is just from ourselves, but at the same time, not in any way bound to the world we are awaike in.

while it is prefectly true that it is always a mistake to too closely between the two, nothing is ever "just" anything. everything, even, perhapse especialy, dreams, have their own intrinsicness, perhapse in some parrallel time and place, even substance.

this is how i see them anyway. as simulations that might just also BE some sort of parallel universe. but a parallel univese, NOT ever quite exactly THIS one either.

There are four categories of Dreams:

File System Dreams: Your brain is like a computer and it files/throws away all the data that it received during the day.
Precognitive Dreams: Dreams that foretell the future
Spiritual Dreams: Higher beings from the spirit realm contacting you - sounds like you may be having some of these.
Working Dreams: Your subsconscious is trying to work out a solution to a problem you may be having in your daily waking life.

Almost all dreams are in the language of symbols. Here are a few sites that can help you find the definition of the symbols. Pick the definition feels right for you.
