I hit a parked car

I was pulling in a parking lot and hit a car and took the womens bumber partially off. My car is fine except for some paint marks. I spent all day at work trying to dodge my dads phone calls so I think my mind was on how much I hate them rather than driving. anyway let the pitty party begin please.

 

haha! That sucks! I did that once trying to park, but it didn't do anything to the other guy's car, so I didn't leave him a note or anything... at least, I hope it didn't do anything. I broke my turn signal thing, though. It's been like two years and I still haven't fixed it. I have a replacement light, but I can't afford to get it put in. I told my mom I hit a pole.

 

the only accidents I ever get in are generally stoner fender benders. the last one was two years ago. I backed into a gas pump and knocked it clear over, amazingly no gas went anywhere. the funniest part about it was this gas station was part of a liquor store and I had just popped in to pick up a bottle of wine on the way home from teaching school. I went in to give the lady my insurance information - and she was like don't worry, I know you weren't drunk and I'll vouch for you if the insurance people question me. it was pretty amusing all around, especially as I didn't do any damage to my car. course, my insurance going up kinda sucked.

Once i hit one an ran as a 16 year old on my way to school, been paying for that ever since.

I didn't run. I would hate to have someone pay a high deductible becausee I couldn'tt ake responsibility for my actions. That would just be bad karma. I told my mom I will pay the difference if my insurance goes up.

 

haha i hit a parked car once, no one was around so i left. i figured if they had hit me they wolda done the same. LET THE BAD KARMA BEGIN hahaha

I hit a parked car on Friday! I had just gotten my tattoo and I was meeting my friend at a bar. Well as I was backing out I hit this girl's car and caused a huge dent. My car is fine but my parent's are not too happy about it.

 

A couple summers ago I was going to meet some friends for some drinks at a bar. So I start driving, and after about a minute I had realized that I forgot my license. So I turned around in a driveway, and when I backed up I went right into a car that was parked in the road across the street. I didn't hit the car hard, though, so hopefully I didn't cause any damage. My car wasn't damaged, but I don't know about the one I hit.

Luckily nobody saw me because it was pretty late at night.

 

i've never hit a car before. though bumper to bumper taps while parking in tight spots, but i wouldn't call that hitting a car.


though i have had a few close calls though...one of them was when i just got my license. i took my eyes off the road for a few seconds to fix rear view mirror and i kinda hit the gas pedal at the same time and almost ran into the back of a car at a red light...it scared the shit out of me....

 

My mom ran backed into a hyundai once and it must have been a stick shift because whoever parked it didn't put the parking brake on and didn't put it in gear because when she backed into it, it rolled forwards, went over a curb and a tree stopped it but it didn't do any damage to either car (I looked at my mom's and the other car) so we just drove off. I still wonder what the owner of the car thought when they found it like that... lmfao.

 

Holy shit, that made me laugh so hard!

 

I know... and when she did it two of my friends were in the car and they were both like "WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?" and thought my mom was insane...

 

I am goofy like that too...I would have done the same thing! Look what my son has to look forward to! HA HA

 

Does it count if you hit a parked car with a bike? Ive done that more than once.. I also made 4 cars backed up once when i was riding my bike right for them and didnt notice it lol. I was staring at a tree i almost hit them..

Don't sweat it, though. My sister did it three times in the first year she had her license.

 

I remember hitting a curb while trying to jump it with a beach cruiser style bike... I flipped it over and hit glass and the tire blew... Right in front of my damn house when I was turning in too... then when I lived on our farm I remember hitting a stump when I was about 8 and flying off of the bike and flipping it. I've also hit cars numurous times... there was also a time when I was riding at about 2 am downtown and my light went out and I hit a lamppost and flew into the street...

 

Oh man, that really sucks. Sorry to hear that. I'm always afraid that I'll do that as well.
