Especially those who live in urban locations:

What is your experiential impression of a gay male?

    From experience?

I know several gay guys. They aren't FLAMING, but you can tell they are gay if you talk to them. Kind of feminine. Nice people. One guy I worked with was really funny...he was quite large and did Julia Roberts impressions from Pretty Woman...:D

What are you hoping to learn from this thread?

Gay men are known for having special talents at least. Interior design or style or whatever they have that tv show for. And they tend to be educated and open minded for the most part. I have never seen any benefit to knowing a lesbian. Other than porn but thats fantasy, none of them look like that in real life.

Some of my best friends at Job Corps were gay as fuck. Some of them are even more feminine than my girlfriend. The gay guys I know are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Funny too. This one dude at Job Corps, his nickname was Blueberry. When I got there I asked him why everyone called him Blueberry. He told me it was because he likes the color blue and he's fruity as hell. hahaha

Also, some of those gay dudes at Job Corps could really scrap. The biggest, baddest dude on campus could get in a fight with this one gay dude named Brock, and Brock would probably put that dude in the hospital. Strong as fuck, and quick.

This other gay dude at Job Corps, nicknamed Cupcake, is quite possibly the coolest dude I've ever met. He got me high on numerous occasions and was always nice to everyone.

These guys made me realize that there is no such thing as a 'stereotypical' gay guy. They're just like the rest of us, only they like men instead of women. I'll never forget those guys. I made some good friends at Job Corps.

does anyone think that the author of this piece has called himself 'whichaxe' as in 'axe to grind' because he wants to air a lot of issues?

This other gay guy named Robbie, he was almost exactly like a female. He even told us to call him Robbina instead of Robbie. He always had a smile on his face and could make anyone feel better when they were having a bad day. I consider this dude to be almost like a brother. A good guy.

My experience with lesbians has been they despise men and try to look as unfeminine as possible usually at the expense of their health and natural beauty.
Gay men are usually surrounded by female friends and take good care of themselves.
I dont know why that is either.

Chasing Amy is a funny kevin smith flick that deals with alot of gay issues. Good movie.

I think most men are so afraid of being labeled gay they cant bare the sight of another man's penis. thats why its so easy to finger that sore spot on homophobic guys.

I love gay men. They're fun as heck to be friends with! Well, as long as they're not women haters, because there are some that are. And that's not cool.
