Brownies

are almost done and I shall enjoy some with a nice glass of milk. Yummy.

Hey how ya doing besides being a great uncle? Hope this heat wave that is suppose to really pound you all tomorrow is not too bad for ya, try to stay cool and hydrated man.

 

i'm doing good, had a nice relaxing weekend. i am not looking forward to this heat wave. wednesday is gonna be brutal. saying it might top 100 with the heat index as high as 110. and the humidity.

i'm telling the kids to bring something they can get wet in for wednesday - i'm just gonna turn the hose on for them. i can deal with the heat, but these kids don't know what to do. they don't drink water at home, so i'm already fighting a lost cause. i tell them over and over they need to drink more water at home, but they insist on telling me they want to drink soda.

was it bad out there?

 

Yes sadly soda makes it worse for em, but your trying and thats all you can do.

 

i know...i had to deal with a kid last year who had heat sickness, while i was on the verge of heat exhaustion....not fun. don't want to see a kid get sick or worse....so i'm gonna lecture them tomorrow

I was gona do some outside work but was too hot, will do the early am thing again to get some shit done.

I have to call in work to go out again too but kinda draggin my feet waitin for a little clear spot comming in that is a tad cooler.

 

okay maybe its just me but you look at that picture from the above poster, you read them words and imagine the voice that would speak it and all I seem to want to do is just come out of the oven in a 9x9 pan.

 

I could definitely inhale some brownies at the moment... although I did shove quite a bit of cake down my throat earlier

 

yea, i'm gonna mention korey stringer, most of the kids play football, so they should know about it.

yea, getting outside work done early in the morning or later in the evening (if you can) is a great way around the heat.

 

got one left in the fridge with a mouse on top.

that was wifie's birthday card/cake from suday when she turned 57.

we had a house full of very assorted friends. but they all brought food too. so now we've got a house full of it. including a wonderful raw veggie tray someone picked up at the store on their way over.

i, unfortunately, was not feeling well, but i did manage to say hi to everybody.
