I had my phone interview today for the quality assurance analyst job. I think I did ok...but its hard to read people over the phone. They said that if they like me, i'll have one on-site interview with 4 different people at 4 different times (30 minutes with each). 2 of those people I have already talked to and they like me. This job is SO ME! The more she told me, the more it sounded like the job is made for me. I'll be good at it and enjoy it. I'll be praying hard for this one.
lol. i had an interview yesterday. i think i said "like" a lot when i was trying to think of what i was trying to say. so embarassing. i don't do that, normally. but yet, i think i have the job.
I hope so. We both deserve a break Anybody have any hints that it went well? I just noticed that she told me alot about the job, and went into alot of detail but that might just be her personality. Besides the callback, how can you tell that they are interested?
Good luck with the jobs, people. I, too, have an interview on monday. It's for a position as a security guard. Basically, I will just be walking around and being bored, hopefully. It sounds like a job I will be able to perform while I'm stoned, which is always a good thing.
I wish you all the very best in this. If I am going to consider hiring someone from an interview I do go more into depth so that I can gauge their responses.
kinda, that's why I'm so scared that they won't hire me. I only plan to stay out for 2 or 3 weeks after the baby
hate to pick your brain but would you hire a pregnant woman if you were convinced of her commitment to the job?
YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They called me for my final interview today. So its show and prove time. Do or die type shit. I'm just worried about what I'm gonna wear and the logic test. Anybody ever taken a logic test for a job? Was it hard?
Logic test basically equals common sense test. Not bad at all. Best of luck babygirl. You'll be in my thoughts.
Ok, I've had several hours to let the information swirl around in my head....and now I'm scared. my interview on thursday (for another job), I found out that my old rival from school is interviewing with them that same day. (shit) And my interview for this job is friday both are in engineering and I think both pay well....ending up with neither would be, well, depressing. so now I'm scared......shitless, actually. I need sleep and ,of course, a job damn....the pressure
Quality Assurance Analyst? That's what I do for a living too. If you ever have any questions about it, PM me. I'd be happy to answer them. Good luck with your interview.
Yes I would hire someone who was pregnant as long as I knew that it was not a danger to her health or that of the child. I do hire employees. I would not appreciate not knowing ahead though. A well formulated plan by the candidate with regards to what she intended to do, time off and possible alternatives suggested would also sway me more in her favour given that qualifications were equal with other candidates. For example giving me her due date and how long she would away (given that complications can happen) and even possibly suggesting she could work from home at least a few hours a day while off would prove to me that she would make the type of employee I would want working for me. When doing an interview I usually am more prone to hire someone who is innovative with solutions. It has served me well to do so. I am a CA but also have a degree in HR. When I got pregnant with my first child, I planned to stop working and work privately instead. My employer approached me about working from home instead. That was 12 years ago and I am still working daily from home. I go into the office for meetings and did so when I had the children at home when they were younger. I hired a Nanny during those times so that the children were in my office and looked after but I was there also. That is now standard where I work, many of the mothers and some of the fathers do bring their children in often to work. It has not been an issue once that I know of that a child was in the work place. The staff lunchroom is as often full of baby toys and seats as it is coffee cups. I wish you all the best on this interview and I am hoping to read that you did get the job!
