ugh, i have a few around my eye, my mom tried squeezing one, i told her not to, but she said it would get rid of it and, it didnt!! I have this scab and bruise around my eye, it looks SO horrible. First off, how can I get rid of the milia without going to the derm and having it removed? Also, is there any way I can get rid of the bruising and scabbing quicker? Thanks...:)

Babies usually have these. They are either clogged sweat glands or clogged pores. They are not regular pimples. In babies, we just keep the baby's face clean and eventually they go away. They can also be hormonally caused. I would see doctor, especially if you had bruising when you tried to remove them on your own.

I can help I think! I get them sometimes too. Treat the milia with fruit acid. My cousin had this prescription cream in which the main ingredient was lactic acid. So therefore any exfoliating fruit acid helps. Lemon juice on a cotton ball a few times perweek left on for a few minutes should help. However, I don't know if i'd apply that to the eye area......Maybe mix the lemon with some pure aloe gel and a drop or twoo of glycerin? Hope that helps!

I have these, they are hereditary to the extent that you can have a genetic predisposition, but are usually preventable by not wearing makeup, and washing often. I wait until I really want it gone, then take a safety pin and sharpen it on a sharpening stone til I have a sharp flat edge, like a mini knife. then VERY carefully cut the skin and squeeze it out. Around the eyes is a very difficult place to work, partly because theyre your eyes, and the skin is really thin there too, and seemingly without pores. This procedure is a little painful, hence you wait til you really want it gone, but on me doesnt bruise, its only a little sore for a day or two. Of course im not reccommending you do this, just sharing.

Hi saw your post late. I have small bumps that grew bigger over the years. ever since i used the millia treatment from webstore www.organiconline.com.sg. It is gradually shrinking. It is slow but surely effective. I have two spots that look like mountain on the face and these has been flattened 2 months. I mean it. This treatment does not cause a bomb.
