Anchorage and Denali National Park... my travels so far. The trip is lovely. Anchorage is not a beautiful city by any means, but the parks are nice, and the locals are always drunk and happy. Denali is amazing. I saw a sled dog demonstration which saddened me a tad. They breed these animals and force them into this life through careful conditioning against the animal's will... they should be allowed to roam free in the wild... these Alaskan huskies can actually survive out there on thier own. Today I climbed several mountains and meditated by the river... huge mountains and nature all around me and I was all alone... it was so serene that everytime I opened my eyes after 10 minutes of amazing meditation, I was truly amazed by the beauty. Alaska is lovely.
Hey Rubin. Haven't seen you around here in a while. I've never been to Alaska but always wanted to go. Beautiful land. .
Thank you all very much Ay Shaggie, I have too much spare time on my hands here in the evenings when it's too bloody cold to go outside.
beautiful pictures i've been wanting to visit alaska for a while and this just makes me want to go even moreso...
Pavel! I've missed you and your lovely pictures! Alaska looks great, I wish I was there as well! Thanks for sharing your pictures. They look amazing (and I'm not only talking about the views, beautiful ). Love you, Laura ps: Sorry that I haven't pm'ed you yet, but I promise it's on its way!

If you love me, then you might as well get to know me My dearest Laura... thank you very much beautiful I shall await your PM. Whichax... the temperature here constantly changes. My first week here it was a steady 70... now it's down to 45ish everyday, and it's still not too bad.
my parents were there a year ago... they really dug it. I'm just spoiled from Florida - I don't like climates that are too cold to go barefoot in
Thank you veru much ElChavito You can adopt an Alaskan Huskie here in Alaska... get here and adopt one I also love bearfooting, Whichaxe, so I just wear my hiking boots without socks and take them off whenever I can
Yuck... if there's a one time I do wear socks, it's with hiking boots... Speaking of smelly, have you or are you planning to go fishing up there? I bet the shore fishing is amazing!
Alaska's great. I had a bird's eye view of Mt Everest from the top floor of a hospital at work for a year. I'm going back eventually.
