my friend took me away on a weekend to a festival, which i thought was really nice of her.. weve been mates for 5 years and have been though EVRYTHING together!! when we broke up from school a year ago we went our own ways, i went to college and she stayed on in 6th form. I diddnt see as much of her in the last year. so we spend the 3 days and nights together and i realised how much she had changed!!! she went around eyeing up all these pretty hippy guys, we spotted one guy in particular who was AMAZING (by looks anyways) it was later on to find out he had a gf, and my friend looked at this girl (who was v pretty also) and blurted out "im better looking than her, what does he see in that trashy fat lump".. i was shocked, this girl was no where near "fat", and was pretty!!! She then said "im better looking than all the girls at this festival... i could have him if i wanted!!!!". What has happened to her!!!? she spent the weekend winging and tarting herself up, she even took a full length mirror to a festival... if thats not vain i dont know what is!!! she wore a 95.00 dress and evrytime someone got anywhere nearher she would go "its DESIGNER...keep your hands off, dont crease it".... she would bang on about her dress all night...drove me mad!!!!!!!(evryone started putting on posh accents, taking the piss)) i just dont know what to do with her, shes turned into such a stuck up misses, shes so bitchy and nasty..and i dont know how to tell her this without hurting her : ( i either ditch her or try and sort things out, and i dont know what the best thing to do is....
People grow and change...sometimes in good ways and sometimes in not so good ways. I wouldn't make an effort to hang out with her, and if she wonders why...tell her...maybe it will be a reality check for her. Maybe it won't. But I wouldn't want to be friends with someone like that...so...just don't make an effort to spend time with her...and see if she even cares.
