Beifall!

;) You used an online translator, didn´t you? - Very funny. - it´s no problem to post in English. And: Sorry, I don´t know anything about these castles.

Summer is the worst time to visit this region. Main traveling season, this means overcrowded, overpriced, bad service, no rooms and more bad experiences like on every touristic hot spot elsewhere. But you'll meet a lot of fellow americans there, much much more fellow japaneses and if you've luck, sometimes the one or other fellow german [IMG]

Nice cities to visit are also Cologne and Bonn.
You have a wonderful sight from the "Drachenfels" (you can drive up this mountain with a small train) http://www.buecher-bosch.de/Internetseitenordner/Internetseiten/Bilder/Drachenfelsgross.jpg

Also famous is the "Loreley" http://www.verwaltung.uni-duesseldorf.de/kulturpr/unikultur/loreley_8442.jpg.

Nice shall be "Burg Eltz" (a castle on the river: Mosel -near Rhine). http://www.boldts.net/photos/D-Burg-Eltz.jpeg

If you can, make a ship tour on the Rhine. You can visit most of the castles on the rhine. I like that area very much.
