Firstly one of his "sources" is a broken link -- that's hardly a source.

There are two other sources:

This source has no relevance whatsoever, because mowing an alfalfa field would be necessary whether it's to produce alfalfa for human consumption, or whether it's to produce alfalfa for animal consumption for later human consumption.

The difference? You have to grow hundreds of times more crops just to feed and raise the animals, than you would need to do for humans.

Therefore a vegan lifestyle would reduce the amount of alfalfa being mowed, most likely by a factor close to 100. Stephen Davis apparently forgot to include any logic in his paper at all.

The second source:

The link he provided has absolutely nothing to do with the European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics. It links to a biased little site called "Wildlife Damage Control" which has information about trapping animals, keeping them off your property and out of your home, and diseases they may carry.

Secondly, I actually did some research into the article, the "Least Harm Principle," and Maddox is once again off his rocker.

The publication that Maddox is seeking, is actually NOT published or endorsed by the European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics. It was only presented TO them by a man named Stephen Davis. They did not agree with or publish Davis' work, and I can imagine that it's for a huge variety of reasons.

Oh yeah, did I mention that Stephen Davis is the same author as the guy who was listed in the first source Maddox used, which wrote a logically-void paper on mowing alfalfa? Looks like Maddox himself is playing a big joke on you, and now you've even got me laughing!

Next time, please check his sources a little bit more than following the links he provided!! You didn't check shit for his sources, and that's pathetic. You would have gotten a failing grade if this was high school.

Now keep in mind, Maddox is a funny man. His site is hilarious, simply because he is good at twisting words around his finger so well that he can use anyone's words against them and make them look like an asshole.

That, however, does not make him right! Keep in mind, before he came up with what you posted today, he came out with "For Every Animal You Don't Eat, I'm Going to Eat Three!"

And come on, don't tell me that you're THAT stupid that you would take what he says literally, just because the links on his web page go to actual URLs? (One of which doesn't) His sources and the logic used within them are a joke, and so are you for believing any of it.

So, this guy has sources? I missed them; except for the broken one... which didn't surprise me.Why do people want to down on veggies? It's like, not even cool. I don't go out of my way to say, "hey, I don't eat me and I'm better than you cause you're a meat mouth." Infact, I don't think anyone does.If he really wants to hate on someone it needs to be racists! Those are the ones who think they are better than everyone else. oh, and i dont see how its more ruthless, at least they have a chance to escape. their not chained up hanging upside down while someone slits their throat and rips out their trechia with their bare hands and lets them die slowly in agony.
