Okay, folks, we can have this both ways. I want to know how many younger (not to be ageist, but meaning my age to early thirties or so) women like older (that is to say at least five to ten years older than the female) men, and why. If you're an older man who likes younger women for an original reason (), feel free to post your input as well. I'll start -- (I like older men, usually five or so years older than myself but up to even twenty or thirty or more years depending on the individual) because they are not fruitcakes about freedom like guys my age tend to be. Most guys my age are so worried about being chained down that they run from everything; most older guys have enough perspective to see that simple things like smiles and conversational phone calls and little public displays of affection are not signs that the old ball and chain are coming out of the box. :H What about y'all?
I've just married (late May) a woman 20 years younger than me. She has always been into older men. She says its because we have a different attitude, and more experience (in life and in bed). But I do also have my 'family making' days behind me and am now just looking to live life and I am much more relaxed now than I was when younger. I think that adds to the attraction for her. Oh plus, of course, Im a damn good fuck!!
I have always seemed to go for younger women in the past - sometimes for unoriginal reasons, but usually because there was a connection between us that transcended age differences. Now I am more in love than I have ever been, and with a woman very close to my own age. She keeps knocking me back (I might be getting shot down for good tomorrow night, since we have a dinner date to put all our cards on the table) but I have never been so attracted to anyone before. Once I chased small breasts, firm flesh, flawless skin... Now I love little details like the way her hair is greying at the corners. But I think this attraction too has nothing to do with age. Thinking about it, it is almost always younger women who are attracted to me. Maybe their eyes just need longer to develop...
Im 29 and dating a guy who is 34 and my rule is no-one under 30 or 31 .... Things are just sweeter and more real with an older guy ;-) Mmmmm yummy! Il ove older guys!
I'm 24 and in love with a man who's 41.. The biggest age gap I've ever been involved in was 30 years.. I was 19 and he was 49.. Older men seem to be a weakness of mine. :&
MMMMM, yummy girls. I think I'm on the same maturity level as girls younger not older than me. so its perfect
I like older men because they're more mature. I hate a guy who's all about drinking until he's falling over on the floor or going to parties. I'm much older thinking myself so I feel like I have much more in common with them. That and I don't want to be anyone's mommy. I hate having to take care of people and I like to be pampered over by the older men. Plus they know what they're doing in bed by then. The biggest age gap I ever dated with is 34 years.
Yep, after a few years experience I reckon we older guys know how to make love to a woman rather than just fuck her. I have no complaints from my (much younger) wife.
I know. It's far easier than going over each and every exception to the rule. But hmm ... what do you know about it, Jester? I have imagined you to be exactly the kind of younger guy I described.
It requires much more than just writing of yourself to disprove, as you stated, the "huge and horrible generalisation"...
My bad. Let's revise my list of terrible generalizations to say, "MOST younger guys (not including Jester and all the other fellows I forgot to name)" (or simply, "Nine out of ten young men I have met") meet the qualifications. (Actually, I AM sorry -- I didn't mean to imply that I think ALL younger men act this way. Or that all older men are by virtue nicer. Really. Okay.)
The original post wasn't presented in terms of absolutes - things were qualified. Appears someone is displaying faulty logic/ trolling as per their reputation. Just my 2 cents...
This thread has been done to death over the years. But maybe it's such a topic that needs to be put up a lot since so many have issues with it. Here's a great example of what happened last summer with it. http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127712
