I absolutely love girls with dark eyes, and I think if they're wearing eye shadow above their eyes it looks incredibly sexy. Is this just my personal fetish or do other guys agree? Also, what do girls think of eyeshadow? Does it make you feel sexier, or what?
I love shadow.. I love being creative with it and wearing bright colors that very few people would wear.. Right now my shadow is green and purple.. I like women/men with good makeup skills.
I'm more of an au natural type when it comes to my face and usually just use a little eyeliner. Eyeshadow is okay I suppose, and it can be fun to play with colors, but it's not something I bother with everyday. My boyfriend on the other hand adores eyeshadow. Not on himself of course, but he often asks me to wear it. I guess you could say he has a bit of a fetish for it? Or at least a preference.
I love makeup, in general. If I spend a good deal of time on my eyeshadow and eyeliner, I feel like I look good. And that makes me feel sexy. As far as other females are concerned, a girl with beautifully done and elaborate makeup will turn my head before a lady with little or no makeup. However, nothing turns me off like someone who doesn't know (or understand) how to wear makeup. If you don't really know what you're doing or have no desire in taking a few minutes to perfect your liner or shadow or lipstick, then just don't bother at all!!
Donna, I'm interested. What sort of mistakes do you see girls wearing with their makeup? Is it just a matter of what suits each person or are there some things in particular that people get wrong? (Bear in mind I know nothing about makeup!)
LoL My name isn't Donna, it's just part of my ID... As far as makeup mistakes go, there are plenty to be made. Some folks find it amusing to draw on foolish symbols and "eyeliner" tears down their faces, which looks awful. Some people think cakey, uneven eyeliner is a good look for them. Some women just can't seem to apply lipstick properly and it ends up blotchy, asymmetrical or all over their teeth. Far too many girls walk around with the "foundation mask" look, where they've applied foundation, but neglected to blend it so it's left looking as though they're wearing a flesh-toned mask. And number one on my list of makeup offences is... Mascara Clumps. I've seen many ladies with big, thick gobs of mascara sitting on their eyelashes. I'm sure this list could go on and on, but I won't bother with that. Some see makeup as an opportunity to be artistic, while some use it to enhance their natural beauty. Either way, when in doubt, less is more. If you don't have a creative bone in your body, then keep it simple!
i'm afraid to put it on sometimes just in case its a turn off when you get close. but if you like it then that's all i needed to hear.
hahaha I used to do that sometimes in highschool... man it amazes me sometimes what i thought looked good at that time... anyways, as a former makeup artist.. i love experimenting with different techniques and colour schemes when it comes to eye make up..after all, the eyes are the windows to the soul, why not have a bit of fun with them!! I love when a girl has deep brooding eyes and she sets them off with bold liner, softened with smokey shadow and tons of mascara...but please.. please... please...ladies.... I agree with bella... No clumps!!
Wow, all those things sound horrible. I think if I were a girl I'd probably wear makeup, and I'd probably put a lot of care into doing it. I like fussing over the way things look (it's my job!). Can't say I've ever seen girls with tears or symbols drawn on their faces. Mustn't be popular here in the UK? I also love long eyelashes, too. I could never really understand how makeup enhances a woman's eyelashes. Either they're long, or they're not? I really like it when the lipstick or eyeshadow is coordinated with clothes. I'm a coordination fan! I also love it when women put red on their cheeks. I would imagine it's hard to get the balance right between sexy and crass.
I'm not attracetd to girl who wear a ton of makeup..... almost that they got something to hide. A little is ok, but I prefer my girls more natural.
Blonde lashes + mascara = lashes you can actualy see. Most of the time theyre hard to see without mascara, if blonde.
Oh right. I never realised anyone actually had blonde eyelashes! Mine are dark, and all the women I like have dark eyelashes. Guess I never paid enough attention to other people's eyes!
