I bought my frist ever CD of them today, "Oh Cracker where art thou". I like it. Its a good amalgam of reggae and bluegrass. Its very difficult to find Salmon CDs where I live, but could anyone recomend any other good albums they did?
well, you could try their web site but its the WORST customer service ever. also the big regulars sell 'em: amazon, CD baby etc. Look for Great American TAxi and Drew Emmitt Band, too.
Ask The Fish is an awesome album...recorded live at the fox in boulder....those guys used get the energy in that room just cookin...highly recommended
LOS is amazing... like drumminmama said... check out Great American Taxi and Drew Emmitt Band... i saw Great American Taxi last week... they are fuckin amazing and Vince Herman is a really cool guy in person
Vince is a character. I was wasting time in Boulder a year or so ago and he was busking for the hell of it on the street! So I finally got a live "I wanna Work at Alfalfa's." Sort of.
I have it, it's great. It was posted on archive.org within a week. The All Good show was better, I swear. Sam Bush has never played like that! I think they put Meth in his wheaties.
Wild Oats is selling it's biz to Whole Foods, who is going to restore the Alfalfa's name to their Broadway store...I'm so thrilled. I never got over WO buying Alfalfa's. "When i get sick of my job, I wanna work at Alfalfa's"
