Most Arabs don't want Persians sponsoring paramilitaries within their borders. Especially Shi'a militants, considering Arab governments are almost all Sunni, save for Iraq.

Hezbollah is a veiled attempt by Iran to establish paramilitaries, much like it did in Somalia. Thie is the last thing arab governments such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, or Jordan want.

Of course Hezbollah was started by Lebanese, but today it's sponsored and recruited largely by Iran.

Most of these 'poodles' as you call them have long histories of fighting Israel and have gotten weary of neverending violence. They have come to accept Israel has a right to exist.

Iran has histories of setting up paramilitaries to create instability in Islamic nations, such as Somalia.

If you think not wanting Persians to sponsor militias in your country makes someone 'poodles' then almost every single government in the Oslamic world are 'poodles'.

Hezbollah has done nothing for Lebanon.

It's about Hezbollah and Israel.

Discussing Hezbollah without discussing Iran would be incongruous.

Hezbollah is part of an Iranian attempt to establish the caliphate.

For the record, I do want an immediate cease fire. The Lebanese people are suffering desperately, and we should do everything we can to help them.

That doesn't mean I support Iranian backed paramilitaries.

 

Issuing a fatwa against Hezballa is the only logical thing to do. And the Saudis are one of the few reasonable voices in the Arab world right now. Hopefully more will follow suit. And I will join them in the fatwa. Stevens, I suggest you do the same thing. That judgment day you keep talking about gets closer and closer and you are on the wrong side of the fence. Allah is not pleased, believe me. These are the real Muslims. Not the hatemongers and warmongers like you.
