I want to make some bracelets that are easy to get off. I seen these surfer anklets that pull loose or tight with a bead, however it did look like it was made with leather cord as well as hemp but i'd like to try and see if it will work with just hemp. Does anyone know how to do this type of knot?
take one end of the cord and tie it in a know around the other end of the string so that the know will slide back and forth over the string. then do the same thing with the other side. hope that helps.
you can find them a lot of places. festivals, cultural stores, on the internet. they're not very common in malls or anything, you just have to find some places in your area, or attend craft shows, and things like that. however, i think your best bet is to buy the hemp and beads, and make them yourself. that way you can get exactly what you like, and you'll feel even better about rockin' it out because YOU made it! :daisy:
