    hello to everyone.

I heard that females are infertile during a period of time during the cycle. Now as I was searching through the net, I got totally mixed up. Considering that the first day of menstruation is day 1, I had sex with my girlfriend on day 8.

Might I remark also that I did not use a condom; I didn't ejaculate in my girlfriend; she had masturbated me an hour or so before and although she cleaned me up, I'm not sure if I was 100% clean from sperm; her menstruation finished on day 6/7.

Now the question is: does she have a chance of getting pregnant on day 8?

*If* she has a regular cycle of 26-30 days she is *probably* infertile from day 1 to day 9.

There is a very low probability that she is pregnant. (Don't worry, she isn't.)

However, STD transmition does not require ejaculation. Nor is it affected by a woman's menstual cycle. A condom should be used whenever you insert your penis into any part of her body.

So I should calm down and just take a beer while watching a world cup replay?

I see. But relaxing is taking too much an effort. I can't even sleep. I found this diagram:

This goes with what you guys have just said. On the other hand, I also found that the first unsafe day after a period of 25 days (like the one my girlfriend had) is the 7th day, and we had sex on the 8th! Also, if ovulation occurs at day 9 or 10, I could be fucked? Right?

I just don't know what to think.

She could be pregnant. She also might not. Your getting worried about it isn't going to change anything.
If she isn't pregnant, what are your plans? What if she is? Thinking about that might be a more profitable use of your time than digging up charts on the internet and trying to guess if she is pregnant.

    An intelligent answer.

What about pregnancy tests? How early can she do them?

If she can pee, then she can go to a drugstore, buy a test, read the instructions and take the test. Be sure to check that it has been long enough since intercouse for the test to be valid (read the instructions).

If she does not have a regular 26-30 day cycle you never know. You can do a preg test five days before her period is due again. The chances of preganancy are still really pretty low but it does only take one.

    Get some condoms now, okay?

remember you can get the day after pill at planned parenthood. They can be taken up to 5 days after the act.

I thought the day after pill only worked 72 hrs after the act....I could very well be wrong, I haven't researched it.
