There are two gatherings that I know of in Yorkshire, Dance Camp North and Oak Leaf Circle, you could check them out. The dance camp is supposed to be really good.

    Hi,
I don't know halifax well, but 2 stops on the train is hebden bridge, there's a great club called 'The Trades Club' really friendly, they put on loads of good live music, grat beer. Also in hebden it's nice to walk through hardcastle crags, which leads up to heptonstall, the village that time forgot.
I'm from bradford, the best pub in bradford is the beehive, really worth a visit, on westgate. While you're there why not take in the delights of the national museum of film photography and telly, it's pretty good and they show imax films. Then you could go for a curry in one of our world famous curry houses (ambala great horton road)
There's a mill down thornton rd where they have very civilised all night parties, pay in, bring your own booze, tea and coffee on sale, do what you like within reason.
if you like reggae try SubDub, in chapletown west indian centre leeds, it's a really friendly inside, but not a good area go walking at night. You can find details on iration steppas web site. They also have some very permissive raves in that venue.
Hope you're settling in well! x

    Cheers Matey!

I am very familiar with the Mill, I love it there and can't wait for the next Kulu Party. Also have been meaning to check out the Trades club for some time so I will give it a go.

    Thanks again.

Ahh. Yorkshire. I would try the Yorkshire Dales. As this is a rural part of Britain, you may only find small post offices, church steeples and cows grazing on lovely green grass on a summer's day with the breeze blowing across the dales.

Smoking chimney pots and thatched cottages with beautiful gardens with dalias and roses and tulips etc.

For something to do, go to York. Interesting city with an old wall around it.
