I adore the look and feel of handspun yarn, and just yesterday I finally came around and bought a kit with a drop spindle to start on this craft. Does anyone here do it? Any stories or experiences or advice to share? Anything would be great and appreciated!
i haven't tried that yet but it looks like fun. it would be great to spin the yarn, knit the project, etc., to finish. where did you get your spindle? i saw something on tv about making one out of a dowel and an old cd.
