I awoke last night after dreaming the solution - I wrote it down and took it to work - tried it and it worked perfectly (well with only a very slight modification) Hows that for inspiration
Ya, a lot of my best ideas and inspiration come to me when I'm sleeping. I remember loosing my keys one time, and I dreamed the spot that they were at, and found them the next day.
Columbo, I was working on a computer circuit during the day. At night I saw schematics and waveforms. Next day I put a chip-clip on the chip I dreamt about, put it on the pin I saw in my dream and saw that that was the problem. I then walked over to the time clock and punched in. You have a great deal of concentration.
