Why are legal drugs considered "dorky"?

This prolly belongs in the drug forum, but I'd get a lot more shit for posting it there.
Why are so many people on hipforums (in the psychadelic forum) accused of being losers or nerds cause they get off on cough medicine or drink beer (when they are actually over the age of 21 or 16 in canada or whatever)? Not saying theres anything wrong with some ilegal drugs either. But honestly, I thought the point of partying (however a person defines that word) was to have fun, alter the mind, and feel different. I've never done cough medicine, but i've heard its a lot of fun. Yeah, its dangerous, but no more dangerous than some kind of esoteric 5T-3p-Oxymethyldenerphernermone-5tteao (that was a joke, mocking the crazy drugs some of these nutcases do, drugs that most normal people haven't even heard of). Smoking herb is fun too. So if marijuana were legalized, and NyQuil were made ilegal, I'm sure all the stoners would start chugging mad syrup, and than go and tell people who hypothetically legally smoked pot that they were "dorks", cause they didn't have "access" to "real" drugs. That was sorta sarcastic, but mabye not. I think some people (especially posers) will actually do ilegal drugs just because it makes them look cool, even if they don''t like the effect or something, and than dump on someone for posting about Kava, when the meth-addict is praised on hip-forums as some kind of hero. WTF? Live and let live.

i don't bash on anyone, unless they do something that they have no clue what its going to do to them. if they know the effects of the drug and are prepared to do it, go ahread, its there body.

Uh, sorry LS. I don't do 2-CB, and MDA, and K, cause I don't want to find myself dancing at a party or concert or something having a great time, euphoric as hell (that wasn't sarcasm), and than suddenly feel this terrible pain in my chest and drop dead. Mabye that's other people's idea of a good time.

No MDMA is E. I meant MDA (MethalineDioxyAMphetamine). Its actually more dangerous than rolling on true E, (or so I'm told). Yer all misinterputting me. i used to smoke herb, cant do it anymore. I don't do cold medicine. I was just suprised at some of the flaming in the drug forum. THATS ALL

I just thought you seemed young because you're worried about what people think about this type of drug or that type of drug. Frankly, who cares?
