So what do you folks think about watching Graham Norton? Is it better while sober or "chemically enhanced"? I'm thinking about getting drunk and watching him tonight.
Its better watching him with the TV turned off... Don't rate him at all, his brand of camp humour has been done soo much better by other people in the past (Julian Clary for example), and with a lot more style and taste. So - yeah, get pissed and fall asleep, give his show a miss!
I actually thought his show was pretty funny. He's no Dave Chappelle, but not bad either. I liked the part where they made people's asses look like celebrities.
I've seen clips of his show, and I kinda feel like he's pluging his sexuality more than his show. I saw him on Conan(or jay, idk), so I'll probably end up getting drunk and watching it too.
He doesn't do that much of it on his show, so maybe it's like giving the prospective audience a "fair warning". I dunno....
yeah, he probably does'nt, but sometimes homosexual entertainers like Rosy O'donald and Elen Degeneris use their sexuality to get ratings and it just really bothers me.
no, now i have never seen rosie or ellen try to use their sexuality to get ratings at all. rosie quit her show before she came out and you really havent seen her since and ellen doesnt really say much about it at all.
I think that Ellen doesn't mention it because everything that could be said was. I get the feeling that she's a private person, so maybe that's why she doesn't say a whole lot.... As for Rosie, I think the last time I saw anything about her was when she married her girlfriend. Oh yeah, and when vh1 trashed her new hairstyle....
I had no idea he was gay... Ah ha ha ha, just kidding. Yeah, the shows aight, kinda just mindless filler though.
American television doesn't feature nearly as much camp humor as British TV, so Americans will tend to respond to Graham Norton a bit differently from typically more jaded Scots and English-folk. I managed to catch an episode to see what the fuss was about and found it rather funny...and this is coming from someone who really doesn't watch much TV--I spend more time reading, listening music, watching TV, surfing the Net and talking to humans.
i used to watch him back when he was on BBC and i think that they were actually able to get away with more stuff on the show than they do here in america. show's still funny though.
I found it more than curious that on last night's show Alan Cumming was able to say penis, but he was bleeped for saying cock! I mean, c'mon!
yes well i always thought that that was strange to. you can say the word but you can't say the slang. and i some cases you can say a slang but you can't say a word.
