Saudi Arabia and the US are bosom buddies. That's the answer in a nutshell. The Bushes and Cheney are close friends with the Saudi royal family, even going to Riyadh to celebrate the king's birthday. The Saudis want a piece of the Middle Eastern pie that the US and Israel are going to be dishing out once they control most of the region, after they invade Iran and Syria.
DON'T THEY FEAR ALLAH, ARE THEY REALLY MUSLIMS????? AGENTS HypocritesANYWAYSee you in the Day of JudgementThe Truth shall be KNOWNSPIT*Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
I just got off a conferance call with Saudi Arabia... yep, the whole country at once was talking to me. They said to tell you that they are doing what they want to do, and that you need to go have a nap.
They Denied that, and told me that you have no story *Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
Look-the extended Saudi Royal family is one of the richest families on earth. When people get that rich, it's their pocketbooks that dictate what their next move is going to be, in most cases, and not their religion. Guardians of the Holy Places? Defenders of Islam? Yea, maybe. If they can fit that in with their real agenda of getting richer, along with the Bushes and their buddies. They were just scolding Iran the other day-who do you think is telling them to do that? This is all an orchestrated American and Israeli plan to demonize and then invade Syria and Iran.
I wish if they truely are evils, they will be exposed soon or later, and may Allah's wrath be upon them, AMEN *Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
From An Israeli Newspaper They published: That explains a lot :H Huh! what kind of Muslims are they? Anyway, our meeting is in the Day of Judgement.Down with Saudi ArabiaMay Allah's wrath be upon the hypocrites & agents*Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
There was a long article in Al Jazeera yesterday about a meeting that was going to occurr on Saturday with Bush, Cheney, Condy Rice and the Saudi Royal Family in Washington. Bush is trying, succesfully, to get Egypt and Saudi Arabia to go against Iran and Syria. It's all about who gets a piece of the pie in the "New Middle East" as Condy Rice put it.
Well, pardon me to pieces-it wasn't in Al Jazeera, it was in the New York Times. Here's the article. Some Muslims use religion for convenient political purposes just like some "Christians" in the US do. Maybe this article will help to explain the current the recent Bush-inspired "fatwah". http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/23/w...&en=830c9036b765b06b&ei=5094&partner=homepage

Arent you glad that there is so much dischord between member states of the muslim world? I mean the English speaking world is completely united (well their governments are). A few non English Europeans are with them. The fact is that they are united because they dont have to believe in some kind of mystical being in order to be a member of the coalition. Its when you cant see what you are fighting for that you get someone invade your country. Maybe if the Muslim governments were less corrupt they would have their armies behind them If they only had something other than "the invisible man" to fight for - like a decent living standard. All the money these oil rich governments reap and their people live in dirty squalid conditions - thats the tradgedy - first world governments with people who live like they are in the third world. It does wonders for morale if your people and your army are well equiped and well fed - the muslims are indeed on a suicide mission they cant win and prefer extinction
The prophet (pbuh) already prophesied about What's going on now and he gave some reasons , why they aren't united , Your analysis is completely wrong I don't need your analysis Sadly they aren't Muslim governments maybe the only one is Iran and not in everything (I have documents) I don't know if you are from The united state of Satan, read about the conditions of many ppl there :sunglasse well, you will find the same thing in many other European countries as well (I have documents read newspapers) And the crisises in the Middle-East who caused it, what is the reason and who is the responsible, read more, get informed :H *Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
I wouldn't put much faith in Saudi Arabia, they are one of the most corrupt and brutal regimes on the planet, and are very cosy bedfellows with the US government. Besides, the Qur'an supports the existance of the state of Israel as a homeland for the once exiled Jews. The issue, though, should not be about faith. It should be about human suffering. The Israelis are causing untold suffering for both the Palestinians and the Lebanese people, and there must be international pressure to reign them in. I'm ashamed of the British government for being complicit to the murder of hundreds....
????? It is taboo to pressure on Israel & US, they won't listen *Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
Assalamu alaikum Catstevens! I usually am impressed with your tact and messages of peace in the face of adversity regarding all our friends in the Muslim world. However, while I understand your frustration in the growing issues in the Middle East, I just hope you don't lose sight of your peaceful message. Just like you, I want to see peace and fair treatment to the Muslim people's. The issue that I see is this: No country is completely above recrimination. Islamic countries in the Middle East have committed actrocities, however, before you get upset: so have Western countries. In the world, every country has skeleton's in their closet. I just hope that in your quest of informing people of the truth doesn't have you blinded by the other aspects. Perhaps Allah will punish those who go against his will and harm others. I can only hope that justice will be served for those who have been mistreated. Though I do have a question. My Muslim friends at school told me that Muslims should look out and care for those who believe in The Book (for those of you who don't know what I mean, the Bible: Christians and Jews). Shouldn't we care for the Israeli loss of life (even if they brought it upon themselves)? I don't mean to upset you. I just see you spiraling into an unbalanced state. Sadly, people get turned off by too much force and anger. I greatly admire your insight and thoughts. May Peace Be With you.
Well by my understanding the Qur'an accepts Moses as a prophet of God, one of many before Muhammad. And there's this passage: Sura 5, verses 20 and 21: “Remember when Moses said to his people: O my people, remember the favors that God bestowed on you when he appointed apostles from among you, and made you kings and gave you what had never been given to any one in the world. Enter then, my people, the Holy Land that God has ordained for you.” My point though is that ancient religious texts shouldn't be relevant to modern conflicts. Israel is a dangerous and oppressive nation. This isn't, for me, an issue of religion or ethnicity. I'll criticise any nation that abuses human rights in the way Israel is right now. What they're doing must stop.
Well said - both of the previous two posters - I especialy enjoyed reading the post by Shambhala Peace. My words come out harsh but I am dismayed by all sides in these atrocities. I have done my best to try persuading people of all faiths and political persuasion to join and stop these acts but what I have found is that the leaders of the world are wearing us all down. We are beginning to accept our helplessnes and more people are taking polarised views of the situation. I express my anger, lethargy, antipathy, in short I have explored all my emotions on these issues and it just seems that we are banging our heads on a brick wall if we think we can do anything to stop the greedy and powerful from killing us all. I am sorry CatStevens but you may be experiencing some of this yourself but it does no good to express one sided propoganda, it looks like an act of war in itself
Columbo And yeah The western leaders should stop being greedy they have enough money, they are rich enough, yet they still want to invade and steal other lands. read more *Peace and love* Yours Sincerely, Cat Stevens
