new "farm girl" summer dress

yeah......I don't know what to call it........
anyway, here it is....the new, temporary camera I bought is the shits (ah, I paid $10 for it) and the place I got the film developed was the crappiest I'd ever seen.....anyhow, this is my dress.....(the fabric is pink and white "plaid" BTW)

 

I love it! It's perfect for hot summer weather

it's nice and light for summer, i wore it yesterday in the blazing heat here and it was nice....
pharoh~it's actually a lace that i put around the bottom....don't know if that'
s still a ruffle.....

lol, no, i found the lace seperate on a spool and sewed it on.

I can't understand those dang patterns, so i do it my way off the top of my head.

i LOVE those style dresses. My friend gave me a great vintage knee legnth red and white polka dot one at value village not long ago. The only thing was the bust was extremely large and even after having taken it in it's still way too big. i'm going to have to add some ties to it.

I just love custom work. I have to make a lot of what I wear only bc everythin is either to large or to small LOL My boobs are rather large so I like the top to this. I always find shirts or whateva like this and the stretchy part only covers half of my boob rflmao. I like pink anyhow there girlie. The little lace at the bottom gives it just a little bit to Congrats on the 10$ cam wish I could find one for that much. I stepped on my brand new one the other day and busted the screen. Its gonna cost me more now to replace that screen then the whole camera cost in itself.......grrrrrr

We had a nice one, but my sister smahed it when we were in this huge fight. Still waiting for the relacement...don't think it's coming.
I love to make my own clothes mainly because they're custom. Hardly ever does anything I buy in the store fit right. I feel so much more confident in my own clothes!
