Rainbow 2007 Possibly In Texas?!?!?! I Could Go! What's The Gathering Like?

Can I have any info about the gathering from people who have been there? I read on the website that one of the three possibilities is Texas, where I happen to live. I still have to convince my parents to let me go, and being transferred to a new school, I could try to prove my responsibility and be granted permission to go. I've been dying to go since I heard about it last year, and was forced to miss going last year. Can anyone share experiences, advice, or what they know about it? Thanks. Much appreciated.

L'il sis, If it's a distance from home issue with your parrents, please note that Deep East By God Texas is as close to you ( El Paso?) as San Diego, CA. What's it gonna be like? Whether OK, AR, or TX, HOT and HUMID! Thanks for not running away to Colorado. I'm sure we'll be meeting you when the time is right.

 

I really think I can go this year. I'm starting in a new school, and if I prove I'm responsible that whole year, one they won't interrogate me about the gathering, and two they'll let me go in the first place. I'm psyched about it.

 

Well you'll have a whole year to try and find regional gatherings, try to make it to one of them see if you like the rainbow trail then, try and talk mom and dad to letting you go to a national. If it's true and we are going to TX,OK,or,AR it's damn humid in this part of the country in July. Be prepared!

 

How does one prepare for humidity?

 

You don't...all you can do is deal with it. And drink plenty of H2O
