Is it racist to suggest that there is such a thing as black culture? If there is such a thing as black culture, does disliking that culture make a person racist?

No, suggesting that there is "black culture" is not racist. However what you claim is a part of that "black culture" might. "Black culture makes black men run out on pregnant women" is racist. "Hip hop came from black culture" is not.

Disliking the fact that some men run out on pregnant women is not racist.
Disliking Hip Hop is not racist.

I'd say that the dominantor side of American (and to an extent all of western culture courtesy of America's penchant for exporting pop culture) absorbed so much from the thriving Black culture within, that to say you dislike the culture is to deny the popular culture since pre 1900s.

MikeE is right: ascribing negative characteristics to black culture might be racist, but there is a distinctive culture. Though internationally "black culture" has no meaning, since West Indian and African cultures are radically different, and the cultures between the islands (in the West Indies) and the countries (in Africa) are also different. I just went on a racially mixed holiday with a big group and the white people kept to themselves, the West Indians kept to themselves and the Zimbabweans kept to themselves as well. And everybody had a good time, I think, though we were all a bit disappointed with ourselves for being so cliched...
