It's a fairly hot day so i give my golden retriever a bowl of cold water with some ice cubes in it. She takes only a couple of sips then dips her paws in it and runs around the kitchen, she does this repeatedly until the entire kitchen floor is soaked. Does anyone ele's dog do this?
My Border Collies do exactly the same thing and they love to try to figure out why the ice cubes float...
No, my dogs have never done that. My last dog used to lick the windows and stare at the fence for hours on end, sometimes even bark at my closet. very spooky.
Haha! Yes! And if I don't close the bathroom door properly she comes in and jumps in the bath too and trys to drink all the water! For some reason she likes drinking warm water Such a cutie!

My dog loves water, shes a jack russel, and she runs under the watering can, and she'll stand at your foot when you get a watering pistol out, and when her water bowl is filled up, she puts her feet in it, and tries to pull it along the floor, splashing al the water out in the process. shes so cute!
Dogs sweat through their mouths and the pads of their feet -- so it makes sense that those are always the first two things they like to get cool water on!
I put ice cubes in the water bowls for my dogs and cats too and sometimes my beaker will see the icecubes and run away like they are going to bite him....other times he drinks outta the bowl.
Zette LOVES to dig in the water and make a huge puddle on the kitchen floor. It makes me laugh until I have to clean it up
