When my dad was in Cape May, New Jersey for Coast Guard training, he and this other guy knew Bruce Springsteen. This was back in the 70s. The other guy met Bruce Springsteen in high school. He used to just sit around in the hallways and stairwells and play guitar and sing and stuff.
i use the album cover 4 his "born in the u.s.a. " album as a dart board, don't ask me how i got the album in the 1st place, that guy sucks
everything he did after to born to run was pretty gay, i thought. just add thunder road, jersey girl, born (insert blank here), car, baseball, etc, in a random order and you have a song.
Nebraska is probably my favorite Springsteen album. The Ghost of Tom Joad was a very good 2nd acoustic album.
I really like the title track from Nebraska. I covered it at a school assembly for a few hundred people last year, a few thought I was real crazy, insane-like.
