And facts don't prove how good music is. There's no real measure to prove it either way. Record sales just tell us how many people bought the album - not whether they liked it or not.

Also, the Spice Girls probably matched that number easily, as will have Britney etc. - are they good music?


Record sales are nothing to do with quality of music, it can all be down to trend, marketing, money thrown behind it - 12 year old kids liking it because it has excessive swearing in it, or violence.

There is no way to prove either way whether music is good or not. But this is about worst rapper alive, and people obviously will have different opinions. This ain't about record sales, it's about music and peoples opinions on music.

And for the record - it is my belief that I could make better music than 50 cent. Not better rap - I can't rap for shit.

 

50 Cent does suck ass. He's selling records, sure, but where would he be without Dre? There are many people out there with better lyrics than 50, but they just don't get the exposure. That's what it's all about, exposure. The early underground Three Six Mafia and Prophet Posse/Hypnotize Minds shit is some of the best shit ever recorded, but it is not recognized as such because it didn't have the exposure some of the more popular artists have had. If more people have heard some of Three Six's old shit, they would be the most popular group on the planet by now. 50 Cent, seriously, ain't shit. He may have lived the life, but he doesn't have the lyrics, IMO. The only good song he ever made is Many Men. He gets on Ja Rule for making all of the songs directed at women and shit, then he goes and does the same thing. Fucking hypocrit. Also, it gets on my nerves that his singles sound the same. Listen to the hook in Candy Shop and then compare it to the hook in Magic Stick. They sound almost identical. That some lame ass shit. He needs to go kill himself, if you ask me.
