Melting glass

Would a butane or propane torch be hot enough to melt glass?

 

no.

 

if you've ever smoked weed by using a heated glass "spoon" or rod, you'd know this.. because you can heat up the glass rod with a butane/propane torch until it's red hot and then hit the bowl with it. that way you're not inhaling butane from a lighter
