why don't the maori wear their traditional garb when they play golf?

    since the one maori tribesman won the golf championship, i was wondering why he wears western clothes when he plays golf and not traditional garbs?

    Um. because he is living in the modern world and shops in the same clothes shops as "normal" people? Being Maori doesn't put people in a time warp back 100 years.

    ahahahahahaha. too funny. I expect he was supposed to use his patu or his taiaha as a golf club also... after all... he is Maori.

    In golf, you are required to wear a collared shirt in order to play. Those are the rules.
