I recently fell in love with a girl whom I just found out has an Astrocytomas PRIVATE brain tumor and has been diagnosed with a year to live. My mom has a cancerous tumor growing in her mouth as well and refuses to seek help or treatment, I do not appreciate life and would swap places with either of these 2 in a heart beat. I fear I will not be able to handle what the future holds for me and I guess i'm just looking for insight.
Do not wish to switch places with them, be thankfull that you are not in such a horrible position as they are. I'm sure you would think much differently if you were the one with a tumor, knowing you were going to die soon. If anything support them and admire them for not completely giving up on everything, like they could just easily do. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and be strong and help those who reallly need it.
I'm sure I would too, but I kind of told the greater being that if he gives Sydney (my girlfriend) at least 10 more years than I would make something of myself. I didn't say the same for my mom cause she's been smoking herself to death since the ago of 9 and I feel like this is how she wants to go.
