The Vaccum

Is my worst nightmare. I'm not even going to attempt to lie to you people.

So I'm vaccuming tonight at work, and I hear things. Sounds. Like a cell phone ringing, except I'm the only one in the room, and I didn't have my phone on me.

I don't know why I get so paranoid when I vaccum. I just do. It's like, as soon as the vaccum turns on, the monsters are going to come get me.

I used to get like that vaccuming at work. You couldn't hear anyone enter the store and one night a friend of mine sneaked in and came up right behind me and scared the ever-living shit from my body. Since then, I made sure that I never vaccumed with my back to the door.

 

I get this too. I guess I can understand the vacuum thing when you put it like this. I know what you mean.

 

I was vaccuming again tonight. And I figured out why I get this way. It's because when you "lose" one of your senses, like hearing, you get paranoid.
