After a search of the forums, I found that no one had mentioned this fabulous music festival. The Dawson City Music Festival takes place this weekend in Dawson City, Yukon Territory...Canada. "The Dawson City Music Festival, christened "Canada's tiny, perfect festival" by Vancouver's Georgia Straight, has been successfully run by volunteers since its inception in 1979." My daughter and I (she is 20) and I are leaving in the morning to head up, and managed to keep the backseat mostly empty for anyone we see hitching to the festival tomorrow. People have been hitching all summer to Dawson, I see them on my way to work each day...I think there will be quite a crowd at the festival and look forward to a wild and a musical time. If anyone is in the area and needs a ride, if you're on the Klondike highway tomorrow morning...I'll look for you!
