ok this is my mindfuck, i have a lot but this a good one in my opinion here it goes. how does a body change feelings from the signal the mind brings??! if ur happy now what you think makes u feel happy, correct?! when u feel nervous ur stomack hurts, when ur sad tears are produced, when ur laghfing u smile, whyyyy???!!?! lol theres more im tryin to explain but its really hard.
yea. just the interaction between mind and body is amazing. like i dont understand how you make your body move. if you think "MOVE RIGHT ARM" nothing will happen but you move it somehow. the human body is truely amazing
your central nervous system ensures interaction between mind and body. the release of the neuro-transmitter serotonin brings the feeling of hapiness. asking the question why is like asking why everything else is, why we are all here and how everything works and is. we are very advanced complex beings.
just makes me think - if ONE planet has all this intelligence, interaction and ability, environmental factors and product sustainability, then surely other planets must be way ahead/behind but whatever the case there's gotta be more to the universe than "life on earth, and a few other planets for show".
this is a huge mindefuck for sure. i wish i know the answer. but life wouldnt be as much of an adventure if everyone knew EVERYTHING.
You guys are talking about the mind-body problem. There is some good wiki's on this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mind-body_problem It's a trip. I have spent weeks and weeks mastering this. I have come to think the following: You have your body You have your mind Then you have this "thing" lack of a better word. What is like a translator. I am a computer super nerd. So I think of it as driver for the OS OS = mind hardware = Body OS talks to the hardware via drivers. Mind talks to the body via "thing"(driver)
YOU have your body YOU have your mind - what are you? or what is you? I dont even know how to ask this question without using what seems to be bad grammar. What is the you part that has the mind and body?
SaraiLoruhamah- very easy...BRAIN is the main part taht controls and regualtes everything, without brain, u cannot breath, move, eat, swet,LIVE.... you just have BRAIN and therefore u can control everythign brain posseses...
well there are people who have such great control of their mind that the can like reenact an acid trip without anything, but more to mind and body, ive heard of people who like got touched with cold metal and developed blisters just because they tricked themselves into thinking it was scolding hot.
We are the thought from a mind grander than anything we can imagine ... .... but the way this planet has turned out ... did they eat some bad srooms? Life as we know it is an illusion of an eternity that has begun may lives before our recollection of this current moment in forever.
anything thats works on ur brain, if its drugs or medication, it can be done without anything..u just need to control it... when i was blazed i felt psychic and this sounds dumb, i had a vision, and i never did b4.....it was my sister callin me...and then lik 20 seconds later my sis called me...thats fuckin insane!
Well to think to move my arm is all an action preformed in the frontal cortex. But to actually carrying out of the movement of my arm is a combination of higher cerebral cognition, and lower brain functioning. In motor control (which would be actually moving your arm rather then thinking to) Is done with lower brain function(mostly the cerebelum) Which is the actual sorce of the the brain that organizes, and coordinates the proper signals that are to be sent in order to move your arm. After that the impulses are carried down your spinal cord decending into further nerve systems such as nerve nets to the proper sites on the muscles to which the were asigned by that original impulse from the frontal cortex. You have the ability to take that original imupulse to move you are, which originated in the frontal cortex, and take it no further. Another interesting thing about the brain during intoxication of certain drugs, such as LSD, DMT, Psilocybin, and SSRI's is that they inhibit the reuptake machanism of seritonin in the synapses in the brain allowing the seritonin to continue on through more brain cells without being stopped as soon. So thats why they increase euphoria. But sertitonin is not the only neurotransmitter that goes through this process. There is also dopamine, norepinephrine, acetlycholin, and many more. If your interested in this type of thing i'd suggest reading, "User's Guide to the Brain". It's a very well put introduction to neurology, and it's very easy to understand because of the way he puts it by explaning it step by step.
