Hey :) New to the forum...rising sign confusion.

Hey ya'll...wow..my first post ever!
Basically, I'm having some trouble comprehending the whole astrology chart thing. Maybe you all can give me some feedback.

First off: can you be on the cusp of a rising sign? for example...every chart I have done either says I am a sag rising or a scorpio rising. The whole scorpio rising thing scares me because I dont want others to see me as intense.

Secondly: How do you know if you are considered "attractive" by the placement of the stars? I looked up scorpio rising females and martha stewart is one of them so (unhappy face for me)

Third: If I were to give you guys my birth info could you tell me what I look like without even meeting me?

Now, like I said, I'm not too experienced with astrology, so I for one couldn't pinpoint what you look like. I could probably make some broad generalizations, but I'm kinda tired right now and don't feel like it. Sidenote: As to your not wanting to be a Scorpio Rising due to people seeing you as intense, screw other people. For one, it's not like a lot of people come up and say 'Hi, what's your name, sign, rising sign, and moon? WHAT!?!?!? SCORPIO RISING?!?! BLEH!!' And two, if someone will out of hand dismiss you because of your rising sign, excuse the language, but fuck them. This could be my scorpio sun, gemini moon and rising talking though.

 

yea...I get what you are saying. I just dont know why my vedic stuff says im a libra rising and other websites say im a sag rising...so confusing to me.
Also, whats the most important aspect of ones chart the rising sign or the sun sign? I know Im asking a lot of questions...Im just really interested in learning more about how people feel me out (not in a pervert way) and also what kinds of men I attract and who i am most compatible with. The majority of the guys I have been attracted to are libras, sags, or geminis and I dont know why?

Your sun sign is basically what you are striving to be, what you will become, your future. Your rising sign is the face you show the world, I think this is the past, can't really remember for sure though. All I can say for everything else is research, research, research. You have the means, search for it. Find your own truth.

I read about this stuff and the more I read ...the more I dislike every characteristic that comes up about me...oh well..it is what it is.

 

also, how is sag in my first house ...if scorpio is my 1st house?
