Anyone else looking forward to this one? I'm a huge M. Night fan, and I think this one looks right on track with all of his past works turned into movies...
Meh...M. Night lost all of my interest after The Village I refuse to see any of his movies now. That's almost two hours of my life I will never get back.
I think the movie looks to be a great film, the previews look good, I saw the previews a few months ago and look like a boring movie, I saw the film preview in HBO and looks pretty good.
You guys are killing me, I love M. Night because I think he throws some awesome twists in there. I think Lady in the Water should be a good one, mush better than superman returns anyway, which was what I wasted my last $8 on...
I really enjoyed "The Sixth Sense" and "The Village" though most reviews I've heard on "The Village" were not all that positive -- I think the problem was that the previews had it looking like a horror film and it really wasn't. This one looks okay, but I think I'll wait til it comes out to rent before I see it.
i thought it looked really sweet when i saw a preview months ago....then i saw a preview (probably the same one) on TV a few days ago and it didn't look all that appealing. i guess i'll have to wait and see...
Its getting some pretty bad reviews. I was going to see it for Paul Giamatti. Now I'll just go straight to the tavern instead.
I looks like I am the only one who has seens it (last night) I loved it, but then again I am biased because I am a big fan of his movies. It had some great funny moments, and a coup[le parts that were scary (but is was like, pop out of the bushes type scares...but then agiain, his movies are "scary" but aren't scary movies). It was a bit predictable in places (like who the Translator is). And the Movie Critic (aka 13B) is THE best character I have ever seen in any of his movies. I think M. Night threw him in just to bash people who bash him for having "twists" in his movies and how "predictable" they are. I will definetly see it again...possibly in theatres.
I saw it, and I thought it was solid. Not his best, but solid. The critics panned the movie because Shyamalan deliberately put elements in the film specifically to pan the critics. I thought those parts were hilarious, but you kind of have to be familiar with Shyamalan's history with the critics to get it. Still, it's a sweet fairie tale, appropriate for children (unless you are a total prude), and I enjoyed it.
Korean. And it isn't like they didn't say they were Kroean, when they were introducing everyone, they said she was Korean...geez
I still haven't made it to this one myself... hopefully this weekend. Still sounds pretty interesting to me.
Finally saw this last night and I loved it. Definately odd, but also very interesting/funny if you know m. night's backgound...
omg gay. semi good story line but... a gay honor movie. somehow still got me to jump tho, my boyfriend was laughin at me the whole time. shits |redonkulous|
It kept me somewhat entertained but at the ending, I didnt think it would end like that and as soon as the credits rolled I just started laughing my ass off. My older sis got kind of pissed at me for that but I don't care. I'm glad I didnt pay to go see that.
