Help me figure this out, please. I had the strangest dream the other night.. I had a dream that I had a new dog, a really sweet, obnoxious, cute dog and at the same time my sister had a new cat. I'm a cat person, though. Although I don't think that really matters. This makes no sense, though, because my sister is horribly allergic to animals therefore there are none in my house.. but I suppose that's beside the point. So, I name this dog after the priest that baptized me, was recently (falsely?) accused of sexual assault and who married my parents. Well, I am no longer a Christian so I am way past that point in my life. I don't know why that came up in this dream. So, then, I'm riding in the car. My mother is driving and my father is in the passenger's seat. That's a bit topsy-turvy to me.. it almost makes it seem as if something is wrong in the dream but I make no note of this while I'm dreaming. I'm in the car with my boyfriend and this dog next to me. Then, suddenly, without me really noticing or really caring, the dog turns into my boyfriend. This doesn't faze me at all and I'm suddenly kissing my boyfriend.. eh, the dog.. passionately. Now, first of all I'd never make out my boyfriend in the car with my parents. That seems just a tad tasteless to me, hah. Second of all, what the hell? Then my father turns back, looks at me kissing the dog, then turns back unfazed.That's all I remember. Such a bizarre dream. It felt really real, though. Can anyone try to help me interpret it, please? I'm having trouble figuring it out myself.
Maybe it's a repressed desire of having a dog.Don't know,would you like to have one?? It's the only thing that comes in my mind at the moment.Probably your mind connected this phantomatic dog with an important person,your boyfriend.It could means that it'd be really important for you to have a dog! About your parents...who knows? probably they rappresent your ''guide spirit'',the other side of your conscience,who 'd be surprised knowing you to desire a dog.I can't understand the meaning of the priest..Strange interpretation ,i know...forgive me if it's not really clear!but it's a little bit difficult for me to translate!i understood your dream,but it'd be easier for me to explain it in italian!I Hope there are not too many mistakes
Interesting interpretation, I suppose that could be a possible meaning of the dream.. but I'm not really too sure about that. An animal companion would be nice, though. Thank you for the interpretation, though!
Still Thinking about that,the dog-that you do not have- could also rappresent a general change that you'd like to have in your life! it could also be connected with your sister;as you said she's allergic to animals,and this thing prevent you from having animals in general,and animals could be seen as different things.Meaning, you could unconciously feel limited in doing something because of a person,who don't have necessary to be your sister, and you'd like this situation to change. But still no ideas for the priest...

Hm, it's definitely not logical that I'd have an affair with a friend of my boyfriend's.. I really care for him. Hm, the second idea wouldn't make sense either because of my sister's young age. But, the rest seems pretty logical.. hm, lots to consider..
bizaarness is in the eye of the beholder. i see no problem with your dreaming mind's speculation that your boyfrends inner self perception is that of a nonhuman or that he may see himself as having a nonhuman alter ego, which your dream isn't neccessarily telling you either. reversals are what you say stands out in your mind about almost everything you mention so maybe this is something that you dream is telling you to consider, that many things in life DO 'trade places'. even the reality that the day, still quite likely a long way off, but almost inevitable, when it will be you having to look after and nurture your parents. also that humans are not the only life forms, even on our own earth, that perceive their existence in much the same way as we do. =^^= .../\...
