Moire has been acting differently lately. She's sleeping a lot more, is more fussy than normal, not eating as much, and CHEWING on things: her hand, the bottle nipple, her pacifier...And she's started to drool, which she's not done before...So much so that sometimes she almost chokes on it...

Could she be teething? At two months?

you know, Abryn's sort of been doing the same things...drooling more than usual, chewing on things, like her tongue! or my finger if I put it in her mouth when she's been crying and I can't seem to figure out why. maybe our babes are teething...I hear it can happen this early...

I'm not too sure about 2 months, but I know that it usually starts by 3. Leane always drooled like mad, and once she started to chew on things as soon as she could figure out how, she always had things in her mouth.
I always thought that she was teething, but she still never cut a tooth until she was 6 months or so.

Babies can be born with teeth!!!!

She might be at 2 months though
Has she got all the typical signs - red cheecks
    dribbling etc?

yep, that's teetehing :) Teething happends long before the first tooth emerges. Does she have any tooth buds? Little white dots where her teeth will be? My latest started at about 2 months. SHe's 3 mo now and teething like MAD!!

definetly sounds like teething to me. Aiden started teething around 2 months he didnt cut any teeth until he was 4 months good luck with the teething and give her lots of things to chew on like teething rings that you put in the freezer maybe even give her a toothbrush i know that aiden absolutely loved/s the tooth brush .

yep, that's a sure sign. it may take some time for them to emerge but if she seems cranky let her chew on that paci or nip as long as she wants. i let my kids chew on my fingers untill they get teeth.

it seems unfair to start teething before you can hold anything to your own damn mouth ;)

Yeah, totally! I got her those safe-feeder things so she could teeth on frozen fruit, but she's just too young! How unfair!

that is such bs i got aiden one of those and as soon as i got i let him teeth on frozen foods all the time (HE WAS LIKE4 OR 5 MONTHS) i dont think your baby is too young for the safe feeder.

Moire is only 2 months old, I'm definately not surprised that she's not ready for it. Babies shouldn't have fruit and veggies until they're at least 4 months anyway, regardless of wether or not they're frozen.

:::::edit::::: this was not directed at you freek, just a generalization :)

when I even just put the teething ring up to Abryn's mouth, she gets wide eyed for a second and then breaks into a SCREAM! I don't get it. EVERY time, too. it's like she thinks it's the devil or something. and I don't think it barely even touches her. does anyone get this?

Maybe she is wondering why your boob is so colorful. :) Seriously though, its probably the smell, it doesn't smell like you or milk.
