I grew tomatoes last year that were far superior to anything I had ever bought in a market. Now I've planted Bibb and it tastes like... well... Bibb lettuce. Ever grow a veggie that was of incomparable taste? If so, what was it ?

corn taken off the stalk, shucked and put in boiling water within 3 minutes has more sugar in it than the store bought variety by far.......sweet corn on the cob with butter slobbered on ......oh yeah......and sprinkled with salt.

I found that my homegrown strawberries, tomatoes and corn are much tastier then any that I found in supermarkets.
