Mario vs Sonic

which do you like more? I grew up with Sonic and never could get enough of him... but thanks the the wonder that is the internet, I've been able to DL each and every single old-school Mario game. They are pretty neat.

And in my opinion Mario 64 is the best 3D game out of both franchises.

But I really cant decide.

 

Sonic.

I pick legend of zelda, that was my game growing up

But out of the two im going to have to definitley say mario.. even way back in the day when they were jumpin donkey kong barrels lmao

 

I just bought Super Mario Advance, which includes the original Mario... I cant stand that barrel-jumping and so I voted Sonic. :H

I also just bought Shadow the Hedgehog for Ps2. That game = teh awesomeoness.

 

I grew up with mario and snes. Mario 64 was probably the best game of its time along with goldeneye

 

You lucky and your crazy PS2 and XBOX.. sonic is pretty cool.. and i think mario gets boring faster.. but i think mario is just plain old cool..

 

i like mario more.

but i also have a sega genesis with sonic too.

I grew up with NES and Atari..
And now I have an SNES. And I only have 3 games.. and the only one I play is Mario Bros.

I used to watch the Mario Bros TV show too ahaha

 

they had a mario tv show? i remember the Sonic show, it was pretty boring.

Yeah the mario show, I still have some tapes of these guys.

 

sonic all the way. at least the old ones. Sonic 2 for Sega Genesis was the first game i played ever. the new sonics arent as good as the classic 2D ones.

but Mario 64 is fucking awesome too. as are Zelda and Final Fantasy.

but i chose Sonic. i wont betray my first game

 

Sonic. Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast is where it's at. However, Super Mario World for SNES is awesome. My sister and I unlocked every last secret in that game without any cheat codes... I guess we had nothing better to do. We were teenagers at the time, too. () I grew up with Mario, but Sonic is just a badass, and Sega just wins over Nintendo.
