how long can spore prints be stored and still good? a friend of mine wants to sell me a bunch of prints he has but has never used, they're of all different kinds, he wrapped the prints up and put them in a pill case and wrapped the pill case in duct tape. its my assumption that prints should be good a long time and still be usable is that right?
Ive hear of someone growing shrooms which the spores were like 20 years old. and ive used some that were like 6 months old in a ziploc and yeah it worked
Keep them in the right conditions. eg. in a dark closet with no extreme heat getting to them They will keep good for years I suppose. After you make your syringe make sure you let the spores rehydrate overnight before you innoculate, or else you will get delayed myc growth.
