I have a 7600/200 that replaced a 7200/120. The printer used to work on the old one and still prints off a test page when turned on. However all attempts at getting the printer set up on my Mac have failed . Can anyone help?

Did you go to the Mac website and see if there is a driver available for it?

You're not providing nearly enough information. So I gather you have the PowerMac 7600 with the 200mhz 604e. What version of MacOS are you running? What is your printer manufacturer/model? In any case, 2 steps I would suggest...

    1. Go to the manufacturer's website and download their MacOS drivers.
    2. Do a "clean" install of the MacOS. I would recommend the latest version, which is 9.2.2.

The printer is a Laserwriter 4/600PS. There has been a clean install of Mac OS 9.1.
I could not find a page at Apple's website for drivers.

Does it appear in Chooser under "Laserwriter 8"?
