Does it bug anyone else when you're in a group of people smoking and there will be one person who always stops to talk when they have the pipe/blunt/whatever in their hands? They just hold it and talk and talk and talk and talk foooorever, sometimes it drives me insane! (Usually when I'm not very stoned, heh)

 

That's because they are stoned...duh

 

It annoys the fuckin' shit outta me too. bastards.
i do it though. yeah... hehe. but i realize alot quicker too see. i ain't no JOINT HOGGGG lol.

 

I get paranoid sometimes thinking they are doing it on purpose.

 

We call that camping. Like "you're camping out with the joint / bowl / whatever"

Don't bogart that joint my friend, pass it over to me!

 

Its a lot less anoying in multiple people in the circle behave that way


It also helps to have a 2nd blunt making the rounds !

 

Sometimes I catch myself doing that, but it's a really great story, and I'm already really blazed, so I try and sneak in a toke mid-story once I've realized that I'm camping, and then pass the thing! But the people who don't realize it... ugh, that does get annoying.

i try to never do that it bugs me when someone sits there just letting it burn and talking non stop argh waste. lol

 

i have a mate who talks and talks with the bong in his hand. we call it cradling(sp?). Now whenever he starts talking we light his cone so he has to smoke it.

hahaha, today i was smoking and i was like "hey does it bug you guys when..." and then someone passed me the pipe and i was like "hold on!" because i didn't want to continue talking while holding it, heh. i have a friend who (well, it seems like this) doesn't say a WORD until he gets the weed, then all of a sudden he has a great big story to tell and i get soooo annoyed with him! i've just started cutting him off and telling him to take a hit before he finishes, haha. kind of mean, but he was driving everyone else insane also.

lol yeah my best friend and smokin buddy does that, as soon as she starts to ramble i just say

oii oiiiii... hiiiiiit it.

 

I don't recall EVER doing this. I don't really mind it when others do it either, because we usually smoke fatass blunts and there is always plenty for everyone to smoke how they wanna smoke. The only time I hate when people do it is when there isn't a lot of weed and everyone needs to get stoned before we can slack off and get to talking. As long as everyone gets stoned, I couldn't really give a shit, one way or the other.

ya i've got a couple of friends who always do taht, but i find it more funny than annoying. my other friends and i always just smirk at each other then turn back and at teh same time say "hey man, hit that shit"

 

same thing happend to me.
I always used to get annoyed when ppl would camp the joint, but after a while i noticed that I was doing that myself, unintentionally offcourse.
Just try to be chill about it. Notice that a joint burns much, much slower when no one is hitting. actually, if you leave the joint long enough without hitting it,it'll eventually just go out.
just try to give ppl their time coz it's not that extra 1 or 2 hits that's gonna make a hell of a difference to your high.

 

Do use the term don't bogart that joint or is it a UK thing.

 

We use it too. Sometimes I'll just look at someone and say "are you gonna pass the blunt, Humphry?".
