Me and Jerry share the same birthday. I always have loved the grateful dead. I remember being a kid and singing "touch of gray"
jerry we love you and we will never forget you. even though nine years ago today you left us, your legacy never will. thanks so much for all of the great music, and all of the great times i have had listening to it. peace erin
It's sad that I never got to see Jerry, but going to the shows now gives me an idea of what he did and what he created when he was up on stage. RIP JERRY WE LOVE YOU MAN!
Jerry was not a role model. He was a very talented Musician but he had a 30 year herion habit that took him away from those that loved him and those he loved. I miss his music, and having never met the guy I wont take offense to his habit, but I dont want my kid thinking it is ok to shoot herion. No matter how good they get at the guitar.
