I don't shop at the mall, therefore, I do not shop at hot topic. BTW, did you know it's owned by the GAP?
ahaha. sick, really? i bought two pairs of pants there a few years ago, and i still wear them from time to time. they're really comfortable and worn in now.
i bought a wallet and some blacklight shit and decorations there befoere. I think its funny that the fashion-conscious population like the hot topicers and the gappers hate each other, but all their money still goes to the same place.
I like it for the band t-shirts...I got my Thrice shirt from them, and its probably my most worn-in shirt I own. I also like a few of their funny t-shirts too. But thats all I get there. And I also shop at Gap too. hahaha
I'll shop the clearance rack anywhere. I have a ton of junk from the Hot Topic clearance rack. GREAT deals. $2 for an Emily the Strange lightswitch cover to replace that horrible clown I had, $5 for an Emily the Strange canopy, and $1 for an Emily the Strange pillow case. I like Emily the Strange...lol. I also have a few posters, many many many clearance t-shirts, a couple of skirts. I wear what I like, and I like a lot of the stuff that comes from there. I have some great vinyl go-go boots that I got for $7, some crazy platform shoes, some oxfords, and a pair of Mary Janes...all bought on clearance. Heh...I love that place's clearance rack. Cringe if you like, I really like some of the stuff from there. Especially if it's half off.
Yeah, think the store is pretty much an American thing... but may be wrong. I had never heard of them until I lived in Ohio. My husband bought a Bob Marley onesie (the undershirt type things with the snaps around the crotch) for the baby though.
I go to hot topic to buy my 8 year old green day shirts, my niece nightmare before christmas nik-naks and to buy my daughter tinkerbell stuff. other than that, i cant stand going in that store.
exactly!! it is soooooooooo FREAKIN loud in that store. I am hecka glad that my kids arent really into that type of clothing. Well, except for brynne, but she just likes green day. I think the last time i was in there was like last september.
Occasionally. I've bought my husband Beatles band T-shirts and some faery shirts for myself. But I could probably count on one hand how many times I've actually shopped there. Most of their clothing is a bit too wild for me.
