Yes, this is the goal. It has little to do with oil, though. It has everything to do with the centralization of power in the hands of fewer people in the march towards a one world government. The mainstream media has actually FINALLY picked up on the Pan-American Union plan which is really only years away from becomming a reality, which seeks to erode all national sovereignty in favor of one big trading bloc that encompasses Canada, the US, and Mexico. The plan is to eventually implement a Pan-American currency (where the "Dollar" will become the "Amero".... obviously modeled after the "Euro") and a Pan-American government and military.

I have been talking about this for YEARS and people said I was crazy. Now the media is finally picking up on it and I say too little, too late. Never underestimate the ignorance and apathy of the American people who will have allowed this to happen.

the govt here in canada has been taking the guns out of gunowners hands for the last couple of years. there are always articles in the paper about turning in guns. we're not going to have anything left to fight with, when it comes right down to it. and i think that a lot of canadians would want to fight~look at what happened the last time the states tried to take us over.

anyways, what's happening here is a lot different than what's happened in europe, isnt it? i'm hearing a lot of talk of canada and mexico losing their sovereignty, whereas the european countries are still sovereign nations.

Don't kid yourself. No country under the European Union is a sovereign nation. They are sovereign only in that they still bare their original name and that's about it. Countries under the EU share a single currency under a central bank (adopted by 12 of the 25 member states thus far), along with a central parliament and court of justice. The idea of national borders has long gone.

The Pan-American Union is to be modeled after the EU. And it won't just be Canada and Mexico losing their sovereignty, but the US as well. Under the Pan-American Union, there will still likely be a US, Canada and Mexico, but in name only. It will merely be three parts to one giant trading bloc. Like the countries of the EU, the US, Mexico and Canada will retain their sovereignty only in being allowed to keep their name and nothing more.

    NEVER give up your guns!

The EU is a confederation, with their legitimacy based on the willingness of member-states. There is no loss of sovereignty.

And while a monetary union is a form of deep integration, arguing about a loss of sovereignty is somewhat of a misnomer.

Seriously, I've seen methheads on 5 day benders with less paranoia than you.

So every EU citizen that is against the EU, finding it a threat to their sovereignty, is a methhead? Wow, must be LOTS of methheads in Europe.

When you control a country's monetary system, you control that country.... moron.

"The EU is a confederation, with their legitimacy based on the willingness of member-states. There is no loss of sovereignty."

now if it read like this:

The U.S. is a confederation, with their legitimacy based on the willingness of member-states. There is no loss of sovereignty.

sounds like what the confederated states of america tried to say, and when they didnt like wha the big goverment was turning into what happened? they tried to leave it, then what happened? WAR.

it seems most americans dont really know how our country was formed. the us was supposed to be a confederation of nations agreeing to pool resources and such for the common good of all nations involved. somehow in our jurny people have forgotten that.

people have forgotten it because they dont learn that in school. they teach you only what they want you to know, truth or lies. because less people know truth in things like this, it becomes harder for people to learn it. and eventually, that knowlege will be lost forever. the govt uses public schooling to dumb people down
