Ok, so I've heard that LSD blotters aren't supposed to taste bitter at all. Then I've also heard that the blotter papers usually have a slightly bitter taste to them. So which is it?
kk, i know im new here, but just from reading some of the topics im begininng to get upset with all the people who think they know everything. yes, i understand there are many people here who are very VERY experienced with trippin and they know acid really well, but how can you have the "balls" (whatever) to say that NO BLOTTER SHOULD EVER BE BITTER!!! aren't there MILLIONS of things that could make a tab have a slight taste? i even read a topic on here and some person said that some people make their own and it can taste minty that way. i just dont think its fair to say that if it has a taste it means automatically its not lsd, i could be wrong and very well could be, but taste can come from millions of variants... happy trippin'
Usually when it's not LSD, it's a strong bitter taste. Basically you're just tasting the paper if it is LSD, or if it's just plain paper. The paper could have a "slightly bitter taste", but it's BARELY noticeable
From what i know from personal experience, their is no taste but the taste of the paper. If you dont drink for a while whilst trippen you may feal a wierd taste in your mouth from the paper, but i have never had any experience with tabs that are tastey.
That's one of the most ludicrous statements I've ever heard. Up there with shit like "All mescaline comes in microdots," moka's posters of acid, and iraq being invaded for wmd's.
boocha: i made a comment about people putting cid in bottles (icy breath or whatever) without doing a good wash prior and making the solution taste like mint... i never said those people made the cid... i'm talking about people who get a jar or a gram... and, on tpoic, if the paper used was bleached (as most paper is) there could be residual chemicals causing a bitter taste. LSD is tasteless/odorless...
ok, I am also a firm believer that if it tastes bitter at all, then it's not lsd...but... I also always wonder this too, can't it be possible that someone fucks something up in the process of making LSD and it DOES have a slightly bitter taste? Because if you read about the first time (I think it was Owsley or some back in the day major 'cid producer...this is from erowid, I'm just too tired to look it back up though...) that someone made LSD WITHOUT it being pharmacutical (sp?) grade,he said he failed countless times, until he ended up with an almost black liquid, and he took it anyway...and it worked, though he said it didn't seem exactly the same as his other trips. Because I mean, it's obvious that now that all the LSD isn't made by the same people, that it's gonna be well...different. Because no one can make it as good as they used to, that's what guys like Leary and Hoffman and everyone say in all of their writings and shit...so all I'm saying is, isn't it possible that LSD in the perfect pharmaceutical form doesn't have a bitter taste at all...but when someone just screws up a little bit, but it still works, it may have a bitter taste? I hope I made that clear enough.... But still, I firmly believe it does not have a taste.
